Concept

Fusing type with solid shapes and black outlines, the designs lend a more robust and contemporary voice to the words. Recognizable objects, such as the stamp, suggest a sense of place. The 3 main regions of the country are represented with some recognizable features: Luzon, for the rice terraces and the Mayon; Visayas, for streetfood and its beaches; and Mindanao, for its woven patterns from different ethno-linguistic communities.
