ABOUT

Food Festival at The Capitol is a food bazaar organized by Blu Events in partnership with the Cebu City Council. This happened during the celebration of the Sinulog Festival.

We were commissioned to create the identity of the bazaar. When we heard the word 'festival' we immediately thought of a play of colors. We also thought of creating simplified food shapes and making it look like a camo print when overlaid with each other.

We also took the opportunity in translating the word 'festival' into the logotype. We mixed and matched different typefaces, our way of playing with different food and delectables offered at the bazaar.
